I recently attended the "Blackest Night" party at Packrat Comics. As usual, it was a lot of fun. During the event, the owners of Packrat were kind enough to purchase all of my new work, for which I am very grateful. Theresa asked me to pass on the good word about Packrat Comic's new indie rack, so here I go, using her own words:
We continue to purchase and support the local comic publishers by purchasing from publishers their work when the bring it to us. We could use your help though. We want to carry more local work, granted our budget is not very big, but during these rough economic times as most shops have cut down on the independent selection of comics, we will continue to support them. Therefore, we have decided to take a more proactive role in searching out those indie books that deserve shelf space. Please encourage your artists and writers to contact us or stop by our shop so we can get more of the local indie books to the public.
