Was That Supposed to Be Funny?

Was That Supposed To Be Funny?
8 1/2 x 5 1/2, 24 pages, $5.50
The prolific and always entertaining , Lauren Barnett, is back with more of the same, which is a good thing really. This time there is the added bonus of getting to read some of Lauren's childhood diary entries. Excerpts include stories about watching the movie "Jaws," worrying about her pet hermit crab, and wanting to "french" Ryan. More recent stories discuss topics like having a bad day, looking for an apartment, a theory about Milk Duds, and a shocking thrift store find. All stories and thoughts are drawn out in comic form in Lauren's now trademark style. I think my favorite entry is about Lauren's cat and her bag obsession. Add this one to your Lauren collection. Also, check out a video interview with Lauren here.
