An aesthetics zine project I am taking a part in is taking pre-orders. We go to print next week, preorders ship mid-October and the zine makes its event debut at Canzine in Toronto in November 1st.
One of the articles is an introduction to pre-WWII Japanese girls magazine with a short translation of a Yoshiya Nobuko story. There is a lot of other interesting content as well. More text and illustration heavy then comics though. The image is of the two-colour cover that I designed. Please check it out! m(_ _)m
