The Ken Chronicles #13
I don’t think there are too many zinesters out there that are in their mid-60’s, so Ken gives me something to aspire to. In the 13th issue of his zine, Ken recounts his summer vacation to Las Vegas and Albuquerque, which is filled with concerts, a hot air balloon ride, fancy hotels and restaurants, a car show, petroglyphs, and more. It’s quite the tale. There are a few other small pieces including an effort to get rid of the bees that were invading Ken’s house, lamenting the condo developments in one of Ken’s favorite vacationing spots, and a short retelling a friend’s experience at the original Woodstock. Retired folks making zines is one of the most awesome things ever. $2, Ken Bausert, 2140 Erma Dr., East Meadow NY 11554, USA, PassScribe@aol.com, www.thekenbausertchronicles.blogspot.com
