[Above, Harvey Kurtzman is on the hunt. Below, "Hey, Look!" It's the Dispatch.]

  • Mark Wagner, co-founder and president of The Brooklyn Artists Alliance is putting his money where his x-acto is, and has created a payload of currency collages for an exhibit at the Pavel Zoubok Gallery in NYC from Sept. 4 through Oct.4.
  • Harry Lee Green showcases selections from Hey, Look!, the portfolio of Harvey Kurtzman's 1950s comic-book humor strips, on his blog. (Journalista!)
  • Fantagraphics' upcoming collection of over 1000 pages, Gahan Wilson: 50 Years of Playboy Cartoons, is sneakily peeked at on ICv2 for our viewing pleasure.
  • Tomorrow, June 18, join Doug Rushkoff, SMITH Magazine, ARTHUR Magazine, & WFMU for a double-feature doozie celebrating the launch of Rushkoff's new book LIFE INC. - How The World Became A Corporation And How To Take It Back and toasting the wrap of SMITH's NEXT-DOOR NEIGHBOR Truelife Webcomix Anthology edited by Dean Haspiel.
  • Sean Friend has created a cool-looking steampunk webcomic, The Incredible Flying Machine. If you're a fan of Warren Ellis' FREAKANGELS or any other steampunk-y type of art, this one's for you.
  • High Moon, David Gallaher and Zuda Comics' horror adventure of cowboys and werewolves in the Old West, has been solicited! Check out a peek of the first trade paperback.
